Roadie ("the app") helps a learning driver and their supervising adult log
supervised driving hours. This policy explains what the app does with your
information. The short version: Roadie does not collect your data.
The developer operates no servers and never receives your drives or your location.
What Roadie stores
Your drives (date, duration, distance, route, start and end places, weather,
and any notes you add), the vehicles you create, and your goal settings.
All of this is stored only on your device (and synced to your
paired Apple Watch, if you use one). It is not uploaded anywhere.
Location
Roadie uses your location while a drive is recording to measure your route and
distance and to note where a drive started and ended. It records location only
during an active drive.
Your location is processed on your device. The developer never receives it.
To show weather conditions and friendly place names, the app sends the relevant
coordinates to Apple's WeatherKit and geocoding services, which
handle them under
Apple's Privacy Policy.
These requests go to Apple, not to the developer.
What Roadie does not do
No account or sign-in.
No analytics, advertising, or tracking. Roadie does not track you across other
apps or websites.
No selling or sharing of your information. There is nothing to sell, because the
developer never receives it.
Deleting your data
Because everything is stored on your device, deleting the app removes your Roadie
data. You can also delete individual drives inside the app.
Children
Roadie is designed to be used by a learning driver together with a supervising adult.
It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new
"last updated" date.
